Dr. Jacqueline Figueroa grew up in Bradenton and attended local schools in East Manatee County from elementary to high school. While at Lakewood Ranch High School she was honored as a Lakewood Legend and received the community service award for her dedication to volunteering to those in need. Her parents, Greg and Cheryl McGrew are both manatee county school board employees and have been active in East Manatee County for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida in 2010 and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic-Florida in 2013. While attending chiropractic school she was highly involved and had a leadership role as a campus liaison with a passion for pediatric chiropractic. She attended a clinic abroad trip to India in 2013 where she treated many school children as well as adults and was nominated for the prestigious Clinical Excellence Award. She was inspired to become a Chiropractor as she witnessed her father recover from a debilitating automobile accident under the care of a chiropractor. Seeing what the art of chiropractic has done for him made her take a serious look at the profession. The testimonials she heard from others fascinated her greatly and caused her to research chiropractic and natural health care. After attending many medical seminars and shadowing several local chiropractors she was further committed to joining this outstanding field. Dr. Jacqueline’s caring nature and passion for serving others has made chiropractic the perfect profession where she can help patients maintain optimum health and live happy lives. Dr. Jacqueline married her college sweetheart, Drew in 2012. They have 3 boys Grayson, Jameson and Kai and an adorable Morkie, Beaujangle.

Dr. Angela grew up in Ontario, Canada on her family’s pumpkin farm. She obtained her Bachelors of Human Kinetics in Movement Science at the University of Windsor in Ontario. She had received chiropractic care growing up and was fascinated with the natural approach to health care. Realizing her passion for Chiropractic while working as a
Dr. Angela grew up in Ontario, Canada on her family’s pumpkin farm. She obtained her Bachelors of Human Kinetics in Movement Science at the University of Windsor in Ontario. She had received chiropractic care growing up and was fascinated with the natural approach to health care. Realizing her passion for Chiropractic while working as a Chiropractic Assistant over the course of her undergraduate degree, she decided to pursue the chiropractic profession. She relocated to Florida to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. Upon graduation she was the recipient of the prestigious Clinical Excellence award. Angela utilizes Palmer package adjusting techniques including Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Gonstead, as well as various pediatric techniques. Angela also is certified by the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine for Acupuncture.
It was during her clinical experience that her passion for caring for families flourished. She has also been awarded a Certificate in Pediatrics by the Academy of Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics after completing 200 hours in training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the gentle Webster technique for pregnant women.
Angela takes a patient centered approach to care and is looking forward to serving families in the community. Angela lives locally with her husband Edgar, daughter Sophia, cat Roo, and dog Luna. When she is not at the clinic she enjoys exercising, travelling to new places, and spending time with family.

Dr. Jacqueline and Dr. Angela are trained in Full Spine Diversified, Thompson Drop, Activator Technique, COX Flexion and Distraction, Extremity adjusting, Gonstead Technique and various pediatric techniques. They both have obtained a Webster Certification for our Prenatal practice members and are Certified in Pediatrics through the International Pediatric Association.
Pediatric Chiropractic Care
Dr. Jacqueline and Dr. Angela have spent many hours training through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association and gained experience caring for children from birth. Dr. Jacqueline and Dr. Angela have been Certified through the Academy of Pediatric Chiropractic. They have gained extensive knowledge in specific pediatric adjustments, cranial work, sports related injuries, posture correction, scoliosis and so much more. Although children may not present with pain, they can still have pressure on their nerves which inhibit their bodies ability to function at its full potential.
Prenatal
Pregnancy causes increased stress on the spine and pelvis. Our doctors are Webster Technique certified, which is a very gentle and specific chiropractic technique to ensure proper alignment of the pelvis throughout pregnancy.
In addition, acupuncture during pregnancy can provide relief from common discomforts and support the body in preparation for labor.
Preconception
Chiropractic, lifestyle changes, nutrition, and acupuncture can all aid the mother and father as they prepare to start or add to their family.
Chiropractic clears the nervous system from any interferences that could be causing extra stress on the system.
Acupuncture can help balance hormones, regulate the menstrual cycle, improve blood flow to the reproductive organs, and reduce stress, all of which can enhance fertility for mother and father.
